National leadership and development forum
The Hospital Caterers Association encompasses the single largest group of healthcare catering providers within the NHS and is the recognised voice of hospital catering. It represents catering managers who provide a wide range of food and other services for patients, visitors and staff in NHS hospitals and healthcare facilities. The HCA is a national organisation, with 15 branches throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and more than 250 hospitals represented in its membership.

The Forum Management Team (FMT) are busy pulling together a programme of events; this will include a Forum programme that will be relevant, challenging and thought provoking for delegates. This is a superb way of introducing those new to the NHS as well as those that have developed into leadership roles within healthcare. It is key to strengthen our association with members that play a full part in shaping the future of our services.
An overview of timings for your diary:
Wednesday 19th April 2023 – informal dinner, detail tbc
Thursday 20th April 2023 – day one of the Forum schedule including exhibition open; President’s Dinner
Friday 21st April 2023 – day two of Forum schedule including exhibition open; Branch Dinner
Saturday 22nd April 2023 – all depart
To complement the programme of events, the Forum also includes a supplier exhibition. The Hilton Metropole is a great place for suppliers to meet catering leads and decision makers with like-minded colleagues over the two-day event.
